FEDT, FETT, HARTLE, KEISER, KISER, PETERSEIM, PETERSIME, RHOADES, RHODEHEFFER, RODEHEFFER, ROUTSON, SANDO, SHAWVER, STONER
PETERSEIM's came to USA in 1831, from Saxe-Coburg-Erfurt area in Prussia, to Shelby County (John Adam PETERSEIM and his brother's and sister's were said to live at Shaver's or Shawver's Farm), then Miami County (Bloomer, in Newberry Township) and then spread out, as majority went to Darke County. A Henry PETERSEIM moved to Ansonia in 1830s from this clan, that probably started the PETERSIME and PETERSEIM clan there - Christopher PETERSIME (1841-?), George PETERSEIM (1836-1901), John PETERSEIME (Children were 'seim', from census and marriage records) 1810-1890). These are unkown connections. I have how I am related to Ira PETERSIME, the Petersime Incubator Entrepreneur. Please Email me if anybody has connections or interests.

HOUSTON
I am searching for any info on Robert HOUSTON, b:1793 Madison Co Ky. moved to Shelby Co 1805 farmed and was J of P till moving to or on the trail in 1847. Have been unable to prove who his parents were. Any help appreciated. I understand the family was written up in the Shelbyana 4 times. Info from Persi. Thank You.

CARTER, HOPKINS, JOHNSTON, KNOX, SWIGGART, THOMPSON, WILCOX, YORTIE
Searching for information on Daniel HOPKINS (1800 - 1849) who is supposedly buried at or near Bellefontaine. Daniels father was Joseph born at St Mary's Vermont. Daniel married Sarah CARTER of Hardin Station in 1824 (buried at Montmorenci), and had at least 9 children. Almon, Martha (KNOX), Hester Jane (KNOX), Elizabeth (SWIGGART), Addison, Newton, Sarah (THOMPSON), Owen JOHNSTON buried at Toledo, Livingston YORTIE of Australia and Jemima (1825 - 1871) buried at Pomeroy Cemetery. Jemima HOPKINS married John WILCOX and had a daughter named Elmira Jane WILCOX, my gr-gr-grandmother. Counties of Ohio to search include Logan, Shelby, Auglaize, Allen, Putnam, Paulding and Lucas.

I found Joel A. DRAKE in the 1880 census for Shelby County, Ohio - Greene Twp. Wife: Jane Elizabeth MARTIN - children: E. Annie, Levi, Mary and Rosa. Would be pleased to find an obit or other references to this family. Thank you.

BUTT, GLASSFORD
Information on George GLASSFORD and wife, Chatrina BUTT, both born in VA but George died in Shelby Co Sept 1882. His wife died in Shelby Co sometime after 1850. Any help will be appreciated.

ALLEN, EDWARDS
Elizabeth ALLEN m. William H. EDWARDS on May 15, 1853 and had 8 children. They moved to Putnam County from Shelby County in 1868. Their children were: Milton S. of Findlay, OH, Thaddeus C. of Leipsic, Ohio, Robert E. of Pontiac, MI, W.Herbert of Lorain, OH and Sarah Estella of Findlay, OH.

William Henry EDWARDS was born on August 31, 1827 possibly in Shelby County and m. Elizabeth ALLEN on May 15, 1853 in Shelby County in Sidney, Ohio. They had a son William Herbert EDWARDS on January 31, 1866. William Herbert m. Orpha Olive CASTEEL and moved to Lorain County, Lorain, Ohio around 1895. Any info on these would be appreciated.
