Mary Magdelena (LEHMANN) ZIRCHER; dau/o Michel & Catherina (SCHOTT) LEHMANN of Alsace, France; b ca 1794 Alsace, France; mar 1828 France to Ignatz ZIRCHER; & d 1863 Ft. Loramie, Shelby Co., OH. Both are bur St. Michael's Catholic Church Cemetery, Ft. Loramie, Shelby Co., OH. Known children were: Ludwig ZIRCHER & Carolina ZIRCHER. Decendants include children with these married surnames - Zircher, Siegel, Pauwell, Puthoff, Bollheimer, & Krampe. Would like to correspond with anyone descended from this family. Working on a family history. I am descended from Mary's brother, Micheal LEHMANN of Ft. Loramie, OH.

Seek descendants of William MILLS III & Elizabeth (CLARK) MILLS who were married 110 Scotch Plains, Union Co., NJ before immigrating to Hamilton Co., Warren Co., & Shelby Co., OH. Elizabeth d 1831 in Cynthian Twp., Shelby Co., OH & is bur Mills Cemetery in Shelby Co., OH. It is said 7 children were born to this couple, but I have been unable to determine all of them I have: Dennis C. Mills mar #1 Elizabeth Geeseman & #2 Mary Jane ( ? ) Perry, a widow., Joanna Mills mar William Irwin/Erwin., Halstead C. Mills mar Mary P./B. Pearson, Philemon Elmer Mills mar Mary Patrick., After Elizabeth (Clark) Mills death, William mar Joanna FLINN, possibly dau/o Stephen FLINN. Any help with Joanna's family would be appreciated. William died Union Twp., Miami Co., OH.

BIAM, HALTER, LAYMAN, LAYMON, LEHMAN, LEHMANN, ZIRCHER
Seek anyone researching the LEHMANN names mentioned. Michel / Michael LEHMANN m. Marie Madeliene BIAM. They immigrated to Canton, Stark Co., OH, then to Shelby Co., OH. Michel had at least one brother, Nicholas LEHMANN, who m. Marie Anne BIAM, sister of Madeleine. Nicholas & Marie or their descendants are found in Seneca & Huron Cos., OH. Also, a Joseph LEHMANN, a possible cousin, who m. Susanna HALTER, also was an immigrant. A sister, Mary Magdelena LEHMANN, m. Ignatz ZIRCHER and also immigrated. All of the LEHMANN men first went to Stark Co., OH before emigrating elsewhere. All were from Alsace, France/Germany and were of the Catholic faith. The surname has been changed to various spellings as mentioned. If you think you belong to this family, I would be interested in corresponding with you.

Louis D. KESSLER born 1866 married Amy S. MURPHY born 1871 in Grundy Co, Mo. Louis KESSLER was the son of George KESSLER and Salinda HAMILTON both born in Ohio. We believe George is the son of John KESSLER and Elizabeth ? ( her mother's maiden name was BARBARY. John KESSLER's 1st wife was Susanah VAUGHN. John was born abt 1790, lived in Rockingham Co, Va. then lived in Clark and Shelby Counties in Ohio and died Quincy, Ohio. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HALL, MOORE, STOKER
I have Robert Clark Johnston MOORE, b.11 Jan. 1839 in Shelby County. Married and lived in Fulton CO., Il. His parents were Richard H. MOORE and Catherine W. HALL, both born in Shelby County. Richard died Sept. 1840 in Shelby Co. His probate named his wife, Catherine HALL, Silas HALL, and a man named Young, and Johnston along with several Moores, I am seeking any one with information on Richard and Catherine. Catherine was widowed in 1840, in Shelby County, Ohio. A Catherine MOORE married John STOKER on August 25,1842; married by a Wm. A. Carey, JP. Any information on Catherine HALL MOORE or John STOKER is also welcomed.

Trying to find the parents of Joseph STEWART. He was born ca. 1800 in Ohio...died in Orange Twnshp, Shelby Co ca. 1865. His son, Joseph, Jr. (8/20/1823 to 9/1/1919) also died in Orange Twnshp. Joseph Jr. married Elizabeth (Rebecca) CLAWSON. Most of my family (SHORTS, SHILLS, and STEWARTS are from Houston, Oran, Newport)

STALEY, VANTRESS
Any information on my GGG Grandparents Emanuel and Permilia VanTress STALEY who lived and are buried in Shelby Co. They are buried at small cemetary east of Anna. Philip STALEY my GG granfather settled in Auglaize Co. and had 6 girls. Daniel STALEY, a son of Emanuel's died in the Civil War. Like to know Emanuel's and Permelia's origin and the rest of the family.

Christina was born 22 Mar 1857, Montra, Shelby County, OH, died 5 Dec 1930, Valley, Douglas Co, NE. She married 6 Apr 1875 to Louis Arthur ZWIEBEL, born 7 Sep 1851, Clay Twnsp, Auglaize, OH. Louis was a son of Michael ZWIEBEL and Magdalena SCHNEEBERGER. Christina and Louis had seven children, Martha, Albert, Amel, Otto, Lawrence, Edwin born Montra, Edith born NE. Left Ohio in 1891 and relocated to Douglas County NE.
