    To submit an Ahnentafel Chart to the Shelby  County OHGenWeb site, send a text file to the county coordinator, Tina Hursh, by using a standard ahnentafel numbering system.  To create your Ahnentafel Chart, pick the person you wish to start with.  Then, to place the parents of that particular person, you double the number of the person. The father is the doubled number and the mother is the doubled number plus 1. Example: The father of Individual #1 is #2, and the mother of Individual #1 is #3. The father of Individual #10 is 20, and the mother of Individual #10 is 21.  Please use the following text format that you see in the example below:

1.  Anna Hopler, born 02 September 1862 in Sidney, Shelby Co, Ohio; died 04 September 1906.  She was the daughter of 2. Jacob Hopler and 3. Lydia "Liddie" Bupp.  She married (1) Michael J. O'Brien 17 May 1887 in Sidney, Shelby Co, Ohio.  He was born 02 October 1854, and died 28 September 1929.

Generation 2
2.  Jacob Hopler, born 16 March 1832; died 04 September 1881 in Sidney, Shelby Co, Ohio.  He married 3. Lydia "Liddie" Bupp Abt. 1858.
3.  Lydia "Liddie" Bupp, born 18 February 1840; died 16 April 1928 in Sidney, Shelby Co, Ohio.  She was the daughter of 6. John Bupp and 7. Elizabeth Huttis.

Generation 3
6.  John Bupp  He married 7. Elizabeth Huttis.
